Sadness
Sadness falls upon this heart like stone,
So it sits until night passes to gentle dawn,
Then the light will shatter the lone,
Turning it into a heart of gold not pawnBut wait, your heart still has strength,
To progress further than before pressed,
Your heart, refined in the fire, at length,
Will love more than ever could be expressedSo we bring our hearts together,
With hope and faith that will bind,
With our hearts so entwined forever,
We have endless love greater than mindAnd yet the sadness lasts because,
Mind and body are weak,
Only surviving because of His great love
