Moving server equipment.
Spent 10 hours and $2.50 (on two Vault drinks) to move 10 servers, two SAN devices, two fiber channel switches, and one tape library. I wasn’t even expecting it to take half of that. Of course, most of that was not “moving” the equipment, it was disconnecting it and removing it from its current rack and then re-racking it and connecting it all back up nice and neatly. And then a little prayer to God that I didn’t miss anything and that it all works when I turn it back on.
And it all came back online. Except for that blasted tape library. It didn’t work after it came back online.
