I could sing of Your love forever…
The only thing I don’t like about the song, other than the often over-repeated chorus, is that it says “could.” Of course we COULD sing of His love forever. But will we?
Do we remember to begin our study in prayer, to be unafraid of mentioning Him when it seems ‘awkward,’ to dedicate our day to Him and to send Him little aspirations throughout the day? I know I often don’t, so when I do remember Him by singing Him this song with my voice as loud as possible (You gave my voice to me, Lord! Now you get it back…), I want to be sure to sing a re-dedication that I WILL sing of His love forever. I WANT to sing of His love. I PROMISE to sing of His love.
After all… He deserves it.
