So what happened yesterday?

4:40 AM: Police chase someone through the apartment complex. I have no other details than that. I did not even see this, I heard: “Oh [insert bad words here] police” or “Oh [insert bad words here] cops”… and someone yelling “Get on the ground!”
5:00 PM: Someone in another building had a medical emergency… ambulance and a firetruck show up. There is a county service complex where the ambulance is stationed like 1 minute down the road. Less than a quarter of mile. So it sounded its siren once before it was here.
Between 5 and 8 PM: I had a nice conversation with a dear friend of mine. I came to this insightful observation:
“The irony of life is that we often do what is illogical or contradicts ours beliefs.” I wish we talked more.
